A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "Mr. Duck Steps Out" (1940). Featuring the main construction notes for Donald, Daisy, and Donald’s nephews in their fancy Valentine’s Day outfits, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the character image measuring 10.5”x12.75”, the model sheet is in very good condition with light discoloration, minor edge wear, corner creasing, staple holes, and small tears along the edges.
