This is an original production cel set-up from the Walt Disney Studios classic animated feature, The Sword in the Stone (1963). The 2 cel set-up features Madam Mim and Archimedes, and both cels were created at the studio and used during the production of the film. This set-up is an Art Corner set-up that was originally prepared by the studio for sale at the Disneyland theme park. The piece is still in its original Art Corner mat with the gold sticker Art Corner seal on the back side. The overall matted piece measures 12" x 14" with a mat opening that measures about 8" x 10 inches. The cels are paired with a color copy reproduction background, as prepared by the studio, and the cels are slightly trimmed to about 9" x 11" with an image of the two characters that measures about 7" x 8.5". The cels are in excellent condition.
